Good morning.
It’s Friday so we’re listening to something more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Strategy, the electronic music moniker of Portland’s own Paul Dickow. “For more than 20 years,” critic Philip Sherburne recently noted, “Dickow has been exploring different shades of wrongness in his music, finding delicious problems in loose-limbed house jams, intransigent rave anthems, and ambient nodders that sound like they’ve been stewing in battery acid.” We’re first playing Graffiti in Space, which came out last week, and lives at the intersection of dub and techno. We’re also playing The Infinity File from 2017, which is less driving and more contemplative.
