Today we’re listening to OMA, a four-piece band based in Manchester. The band is Corben Lamb (keys), Chris Larcombe (guitar), Sam Heeley (drums), and James Harper (bass). They released their debut LP, Bread ‘n’ Butter, back in January. It’s 14 covers of classic hip-hop instrumentals from tracks by Nas, The Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest, and more. Bread ‘n’ Butter is their first and only LP, but they also have some great live sets on YouTube, including a 44-minute set of MF DOOM instrumental covers.
