It’s Friday so we’re listening to something more upbeat. Today we’re listening to nthng, an electronic music producer and DJ based in Amsterdam. nthng is a project from Jurriaan Terpstra, whose primary interest appears to be ambient sound design, over which he layers subgenre drums and eclectic samples. We’re first playing his EP I’d love to fly, a roughly 30-minute record that came out this past May. Then we’re listening to Hypnotherapy from 2020, which alternates between pure ambient and ambient techno.
