Good morning.
Today we’re listening to Nala Sinephro, a Caribbean-Belgian harpist, composer, and modular synth player based in London. We first recommended her music back in September 2021 when she released her debut LP, Space 1.8, on Warp Records. Space was a mellow yet striking ambient jazz statement from Sinephro and her collaborators from the UK jazz scene. Her new album, Endlessness, was just released this past Friday and is another statement. It’s a sequence of ten “Continuums,” similarly meditative, cosmic, and improvisatory as its predecessor, but linked together by a long-running arpeggio. Guests this time include Nubya Garcia, Wonky Logic, and James Mollison. Sinephro continues to chart the course for ambient jazz.

Have a really good Thursday.
Nala is one of my favourite musical discoveries of 2024.
Super cool, love it.
