Good morning.
Today we’re listening to the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, a Seattle-based soul-jazz group founded in 2015. Thanks to Ted Gioia for the tip.1 The trio is led by self-taught organist Delvon Lamarr, who’s accompanied by Jimmy James on guitar and Julian MacDonough on drums. The band plays upbeat, funky instrumentals with distinctive melodies and friendly vibes. We’re playing two of their LPs, Close But No Cigar from 2018 and I Told You So from 2021.

Been listening to DLOT for several years now. Love that organ sound and Jimmy James is awesome on guitar. Sounds wonderful on vinyl also - I have a couple of their records in my collection.
