It’s Friday so we’re listening to something more upbeat. Today we’re listening to Bjørn Torske, a Norwegian house and techno producer. He grew up in northern Norway, a remote part of the globe where he nonetheless formed musical connections with Biosphere and Röyksopp.1 First we’re playing Torske’s 2018 album, Byen, which is an understated and playful house record. Next we’re playing Square One, Torske’s 2017 collaborative album with compatriot Prins Thomas.
