Good episode with really good songs for us to discover! What I love about Flow State and Ambient Country: I had never heard of John Diliberto and Echoes!

What a blast! My grandfather Bill Williams (Virginia/Mississippi) was a string band player in the 40’s and 50’s and the whole family now pick in some form of Americana/bluegrass/roots music. The ambient forms of these wrap up the whole feeling of these records he and his buddies recorded on his RCA at home, some songs and a lot of noodling around and bluesy jamming. Thanks so much! I will listen forever.

Thanks Christopher. I'm a bluegrass picker for the last 50+ years, and once that music is in your blood, you never get rid of it. Best, Bob!

No doubt! My dad and I played in a Memphis bluegrass band, Gone South, until he passed in 2003. He was the founder of the Memphis Area Bluegrass Association, and we fortunately got to play with some amazing pickers all over the country. We are blessed! Thanks, Bob!
