Flow State has recommended SUSS four times before, first in 2020 and most recently in October 2023 with an interview attached. Today we’re first listening to SUSS’s newest ambient country album, Birds & Beasts, which came out last Friday and is the occasion for this Ambient Country episode. We’re also playing their eponymous collection from January 2023, which is an amalgamation of three EPs commemorating the loss of founding member Gary Leib.
