Good morning.
Today we’re listening to Alice Sara Ott, a German-Japanese classical pianist. We first featured her last June. Ott fell in love with the piano at age three while attending a concert with her parents in Munich, her hometown.1 She enrolled at the Salzburg Mozarteum at age 12 and went on to place first in several international piano competitions. This past March, she released three solo piano compilations, each featuring different composers: one with Chopin; another with Debussy, Satie, and Liszt; a third with Beethoven, Grieg, Mussorgsky. We listed in a somewhat arbitrary order—all three are very much worth listening through.
